Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions that come up most often.
Questions
Is Jitter only for Scallop assets?
No. Scallop is the first adapter path. The architecture is built so other yield assets can connect through their own adapters.
Do I need to stake LP or YT to earn rewards?
No. Rewards attach to the live Jitter position you already hold. Some rewards still require a claim or settlement action before they appear in the scoreboard or wallet.
What happens at maturity?
PT becomes redeemable according to the settled market index. YT no longer represents future yield once the market has matured.
What is the difference between PT and YT?
PT is the principal leg - buy it at a discount and redeem it at par for a fixed yield. YT is the yield leg - a leveraged, long bet on floating yield and points. Together, 1 PT + 1 YT = 1 SY.
Why might a withdrawal be queued instead of instant?
Direct SY redemptions are rate-limited by a circuit breaker. If a redeem exceeds the current window's quota it is queued for operator review, and you can cancel it to reclaim the escrowed SY.
